What should i do to help my hair?

When I wash my hair its almost dry by the time im out of the shower on the ends of my hair. So if that day i decide that i wanna wear my hair down and curly i put gel and freeze hair spray in my hair. It seems to always look really cute for about a hour then it gets really poofy. I have naturaly curly hair and i dont know what to do with it anymore. So now im always wearing my hair up in a ponytail. I got my hair cut in like feb. And it never use to be like this. Now that it has grown down to my shoulders its just plain AWFUL :[ Please help me :]]

Go for a slightly shorter look.

And try taking a bath so right before you get out, dip your head in the water, put into a towel, and then blowdry

you need to at least trim 1/4 inch off of your hair every 6-8 weeks just to keep it healthy. then if you blow dry or use any type of heat you need to use some type of a heat serum for protection against drying out. also really be generous with the conditioner

Try leave in conditoners, like Garnier Fructis. It should help to keep some of the frizz down. I had that problem when I had a perm. You can put it on when your hair's dry or wet. You could also try a diffuser or curl some of your hair with a curling iron when it dries so it's more defined.

Hi, I have curly hair too. If you don't want to straighten it, invest in some good smothing products. I love John Frieda's whole line of curly products. They have a curly shampoo, conditioner, %26amp; frizz-ease products galore.

Also, brilliant brunette smoothing cream is wonderful because it depoofs your hair once it freaks out.

Just so you know, the shorter your hair is, the curlier it will be because it will be less weighed down.

Side parts look nice on curly haired girls, and if you need your hair to dry use a diffuser on your blow dryer. it is less damaging and you can basically blow through while combing your hair.

for more shine, take a warm shower to open your hair and clean it%26amp; end with a very cold rinse to close your hair cuticle and lock in shine.

curlier hair is usually dryer. so moisturize your hair, i love Neutrogena Triple Moisture: Silk Touch leave in cream (which has UV protection)..it smooths my hair, smells good, and is good for my hair.

scrunch your hair with gel %26amp; curly products, like Herbal Essence's scrunch %26amp; curl gel

after swimming or showering, brush you hair when its very wet so your hair can dry to its natural curl pattern. i wouldnt recommend towel drying; it also messes up your curl pattern. if you dont get what i mean, think about this: you know when you brush your dry hair, it gets all frizzy and looks bad, or worse than what you were trying to fix? that's because youre messing up your natural curl pattern.

try twisting your hair into curls as its drying: tell your hair where to go.

hope this helped! for more tips, im me @ ohh so cliche x2.
