You could get a permanent straightener. Like, you go to a salon and they put a straightening chemical in your hair. You'll probably still have to use a straightener sometimes, but it won't take nearly as long.

Hair suggestions?

I have the same type of hair!

What I do is either straighten it, or wear it down with a headband (from forever 21) with a little bow on it..Really cute. Or I wear it up with little glittery clips holding the ponytail holder. Sometimes I wear it in a messy bun, usually on fridays when the day is more relaxed (except for tests ugh!) Anyway back on topic.

If you really like the straighten it...divide it into 7 sections and straighten each section one at a time. I use the CHI flat iron so it goes really quick!

Hair suggestions?

OMG! my hair is the same exact way! hehe. I sometimes put it half up and wear the bottom curly or even straight b/c it doesnt take as long to just straiten the bottom. I wear it up alot too, and I get complements just make sure its cute when you put it up no just like stupid old ponytail. put it in a higher messy bun. and add some ribbon. I also sometimes take a little bit of hair on the top of my head and clip it back. thats cute too. well those are some suggestions. hope they help!

Ughh....Frizzy hair!?

I am 13 and, unfortunatly, I inherited frizzy hair from my mom. Whenever its hot or windy outside my hair gets frizzy, and it is so annoying! (But sometimes its just frizzy without it being hot or windy) Especially since my hair is very thick and long. Is there any way to reduce the frizz without using a ton of hair spray??

Ughh....Frizzy hair!?

..these are great products but invest on a satin pillow case...best to you..

Ughh....Frizzy hair!?

John Freida Frizz-Ease line of shampoo and serum and products. works WONDERS

Ughh....Frizzy hair!?

There's an amazing spray out there, called Zero Frizz.

http://www.shop.com/+-a-Zero+Frizz+spray...

This stuff is amazing! Careful not to put too much on your roots, as it will make them look greasy. My advice is to start at the ends of your hair. Spray a few pumps on the ends, work that throught with your fingers, and then go up a bit on your hair. Spray from about 12 inches away and let it mist onto your hair, and just comb through with your fingers, and then with a wide comb or brush. Good luck!

Ughh....Frizzy hair!?

use garnier's line sleek n shine i have frizzy ends and i use the sleek n shine leave in crem and then i falt iron my hair

Ughh....Frizzy hair!?

I have not had success with the John Freda line of products, and know other people who feel that they do not work either. The best way to tame frizzy hair is with a pomade in my experience, the best I have found is Aveda's anti-humicent pomade.

Whats the best shampo for damage hair?

Whats the best shampo for damage hair?

Any shampoo with Olive oil in it. It works really well like

khiels at macys its 18 bucks but its worth it!

Whats the best shampo for damage hair?

Yeah!!! Paul Mitchell or Joico are two really great brands that you can find in a professional salon! I know this b/c my mom is a hairdresser!

Look on the bottle; it should tell you to use it if you have damaged hair!!

Hope this helps!

Whats the best shampo for damage hair?

I am a hairdresser and I would recommend Biologe ultra-hydrating shampoo. If your hair is damaged you need to use conditioner. I would recommend biologe conditioning balm daily and Paul Mitchell hair repair weekly. All of this you can get in a salon. If you cannot afford professional product I would use herbal essence( they should have some kind of label that said hydrating or something). Salon selective is one of the better ones. Store bought shampoos have a high PH balance, and damage the hair, u should really try professional product. For frizz use Paul Mitchells super skinny when wet and bed head after party when dry.

Whats the best shampo for damage hair?

Bumble and Bumble and also Goldwell has a great shamp. %26amp; conditioner for dry damaged hair. also try to not put stuff in your hair for awhile, you could also go to a stylist to give you a haircut that would be more manageable

Whats the best shampo for damage hair?

I think you should check out www.biolustreflorida.com

Instantly repairs your hair, increase tensile strength=staying power=retaining what you have, so no flyaways in tub or brush=longer hair in a month.

I just went to their launch party and had my hair done, free as a demo. Its amazing, my hair was breaking off and flying away. I will always always buy this stuff. Its awesome, I saw a difference as soon as she rinsed my hair. I have been using it now for a couple of months and I have virgin hair now, but I did see a huge difference after the first time!

You should check it out and watch their video on their first page of their website, its very cool.

Instant Hair Repair for REAL best on dry, dull, damaged and overprocessed hair, thats what their website says. So I know it will help you, Good Luck!

(hair) What fluffs out hair, without dulling?

I have a lot of hair but it is thin and wavy. After I shampoo it no matter what it goes kind of flat on me. Everytime I try blow dry or mousse or hair spray it gets all dull, grey, glued, flyaway etc. Help! What is the answer? Looking for personal experience or product recommendations, not links. Thanks!

(hair) What fluffs out hair, without dulling?

I love DIRT by Johnathan

use it sparingly

African american hair products?

I am a young black female. I don't like using some african american hair products on my hair (for example grease, hair spray ect) because I don't like all the grease in my hair and the feeling of it being weighed down. So I was just wondering can africian americans use products like garnier fructis or bed head or catwalk? I know some black females who use this stuff and actually love it.

African american hair products?

i think you should give it a try....i tried shampoos%26amp; conditioners, hair serum, just about everything you can name in my hair and they all worked fine so go for it....i know exactly what your talking about when you say the african americans products weigh your hair down and it likes you have no body to your hair....the only hair lotion i think that is pretty good for african americans and don't weight your hair down is designers touch grocomplex 5000 and luster pink grocomplex 3000 there very light on your hair...

African american hair products?

thanks alot girl! Report It

African american hair products?

You know, it depends on what look you are going for. I have a product by Redken that works really good for my hair. It's really light and I honestly don't know what the purpose is for it, but I like it. My hair dresser used it on me. I don't have a perm though so I just get my hair flat ironed.

African american hair products?

My daughter is African (from Africa). I have curly hair as well, so I use some of the same products on my hair as hers. Just plain anti- frizz serum after washing to help comb out the tangles gives it a nice shine and smoothes it out. Maybe you would find it works for you. It definitely doesn't give the greasy feel unless you use too much....

African american hair products?

I say try it. I have used other products as well. I don't like my hair being weighed down either.

African american hair products?

It depends because not all black people have the same hair. you should try it though to see if you like it.

I use creame of nature now that work really good!

African american hair products?

well my two best friends are arfrican american and they say they buy there stuff at "sally's" and the stuff thats good i think is that pink stuff

African american hair products?

i have really thick crazy unruly curly unmanageable hair.... i use pantene for women of color (in a brown bottle).. i really think their products are great! the shampoo and conditioner have extra moisturizers for hair that gets dry quickly or breaks easily. they have styling products as well, it is better than grease but keeps your hair just as shiny and manageable and it doesnt weigh the hair down!

African american hair products?

Definitely! Hair texture is different for everyone. For example, just about every black woman I know uses Pink Lotion but I can't because it just sits on my hair and makes it very heavy. You should definitly widen your scope and experiment with all types of products.

African american hair products?

i think you should try sally`s beauty supply store. they sell a lot of really good hairproducts for cheap.

here is their website

http://www.sallybeauty.com/

you should check out their site and see if theres a store near you! a lot of my african american friends really like sally`s and i do too!
