I'm super protective of my hair, someone told me my hair gets flat so fast cuz of all the conditioner i put in it that weighs it down. but i dont wanna leave my hair to die! then i hate having to hair spray it after, is there healthy hair spray? nad i dont want to not condition my hair! Can I get it curly (and stay curly) and keep it healthy?

as for the curling iron, i only leave it in my hair for about 7 seconds. but the thinner ur hair is the less time you should have the hot iron on it. as for conditioner u dont need a lot of it. too much does weigh down ur hair...my stylist told me that. and as for continuous curls without hair spray get a perm. and all u use on ur hair to style it is a bit of curl-holding cream, its like lotion for ur hair. keeps it curly and soft.

Yes, just make sure that you take care of your hair. Use a reconstructive conditioner, especialy if your hair is bleached/dyed or damaged. Also you can get volumizing gels, or rootboosters that will give your hair more volume. Try blowdrying your hair upside down before you curl it, this helps to give your hair more volume as well.

It actually doesn't takes as long as you think it would to curl your hair, and if you have long hair now and want to curl it alllll over it would take up some time. I wouldn't leave that curlin iron very close to you scalp either you will burn your forehead bad. It will only takes a few seconds to curl the hair, after a good shampoo it seems to always curl better too !! Lay off the hair sprays as much and use some conditioners instead and just balance those things out.
