if your hair extensions are made out of real hair you can do anything you want with it. its exactly like your natural hair.

Is it human hair or a synthetic type of hair?

If its human hair, you can do nearly everything you do with your own hair. I wouldn't advise overloading with the hairspray. Use a hairspray that isn't as extreme as others.

And don't be harsh with the hair either as that will 'mess them up'.

It won't work if you have synthetic hair.
